Ways to Reach Me
- Call or text (708) 665-5271
Texting is great. Just include your first name. - Email chris@chicagoaddictiontherapy.com
If the link doesn't open an email for you, copy the address into a new message. - Book online through Headway
Check your insurance and choose a time. I'm in-network with several major insurers through Headway.
Office hours are Monday through Thursday, 9 AM to 9 PM, and Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM.
What Happens After You Reach Out
- You call, text, or email. You don't need to explain anything yet. Your first name and a good time to talk are enough.
- I get back to you within 24 hours to set up a free 15-minute phone consultation.
- We talk for 15 minutes. You tell me what's going on and ask whatever you want. Then we decide together whether working together makes sense. There's no commitment.
- If it's a good fit, we schedule a first session, in person or online. If it isn't, I'll point you toward options that fit better.
Email and text aren't fully private, especially on a shared phone or account. Keep your first message short. You can tell me the rest when we talk.
Visiting the Office
2539 N Kedzie Blvd, Suite 4
Chicago, IL 60647
The office is in Logan Square, upstairs on the second floor. After you enter the building, go upstairs to Suite 4.

By Train
The office is a short walk from the Logan Square station on the Blue Line, which makes it easy to reach from downtown, Wicker Park, Bucktown, Avondale, West Town, Ukrainian Village, and other neighborhoods along the Blue Line.
By Bus
The #56 Milwaukee, #76 Diversey, and #93 California/Dodge buses all stop at the Logan Square station. The #56 runs along Milwaukee Avenue from downtown through Wicker Park, and the #76 runs along Diversey from Lincoln Park.
Parking
Metered and residential street parking is available along Kedzie Boulevard and on nearby streets. Because availability varies by time of day, allow a few extra minutes if you are driving.
Accessibility
Suite 4 is upstairs. If stairs are difficult for you, please contact me before your appointment so we can discuss access or arrange a telehealth session instead.
Prefer to Meet Online?
Sessions are also held by secure video for adults who are in Illinois or Minnesota at the time of the session. Here's what that looks like for online gambling therapy in Illinois, gambling therapy in Minnesota, and online alcohol therapy.
Common Questions
Do I need to know what I want before I reach out?
No. You don't need a diagnosis or a decision about quitting. It's fine to start the consultation unsure whether you have a problem at all.
Can a partner or family member reach out?
Yes. I work with partners and family members, whether or not the person you're worried about is ready for help. There's more on the page for families and partners.
Do you take insurance?
I'm in-network with several major insurers through Headway, and I can provide a superbill if you're using out-of-network benefits. Fees and the plans I accept are on the About page.
